Почитувани Колеги,

Во исто време ве известуваме дека во Загреб се одржа:

17th Clinic for Euroleague Basketball-FIBA Europe International Referees and 2008 Commissioners Clinic Program with аttendance of Coaches Sergio Scariolo and Neven Spahija.

The 17th Clinic for Euroleague Basketball-FIBA Europe International Referees will be held in Zagreb, Croatia from Thursday, September 25 to Sunday, September 28. A total of 106 referees will participate in next season's ULEB competitions. All of them, as well as 14 observers, will attend the clinic in order to prepare for the start of the 2008-09 season. The clinic will be preceded, also in Zagreb, by the 2008 Commissioners Clinic Program, with the participation of 50 game commissioners.

Building on a tradition of cooperation between Euroleague Basketball referees and coaches that aims to improve all aspects of the game, accomplished veteran coaches Sergio Scariolo and Neven Spahija will make presentations during the clinic. This year, the clinic will also have as a special guest Mr. Ed Percival, himself a former coach, who will share his experiences as a leadership adviser. The clinic will emphasise rule changes proposed by FIBA that are directed towards the unification of refereeing criteria.

"I would like to thank the city of Zagreb and the Association of Croatian Basketball Referees for all their interest and help in holding this clinic," Mr. Jordi Bertomeu, Euroleague Basketball CEO, states. "We believe that a city with one of the biggest basketball traditions in Europe is an excellent option for this clinic, which is one of the most important dates of the year for all the referees, observers and commissioners to share a common space with some of the best coaches on the continent."

Поздрав,
